Our stay at Sycamore Cottage was truly enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby attractions such as Beamish and the Metro Centre. The owner's attentiveness was evident through their kind gesture of providing logs for the fireplace and a bottle of wine and chocolates. The peaceful ambiance of the cottage ensured a quiet and relaxing stay.

It would have been nice to have an extra shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries.

The cottage was lovely and cosy, just perfect for me and my husband. The location was great as we wanted to visit nearby attractions like Beamish and the Metro Centre. There were a few downsides to our stay. The sofa bed and upstairs beds were really uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely and cosy hotel for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, which was bigger than we expected from looking at the pictures. The added bonus of having a smart TV in the room made it even more enjoyable, as we could watch Netflix during our downtime. The owner went above and beyond to assist us when we had a problem with our car, helping us get a jumpstart. it was a delightful experience and just perfect for a couples' retreat.
